The Church of God in Jamaica is committed to nation building through facilitating quality educational opportunities for our children and youth. The Church owns and operates Ardenne High School, Ardenne Prep & Extension High School in Kingston and Ardenne Prep (Mandeville). Additionally many of our congregations operate basic schools within their communities.
The Leadership Training Institute offers degree and diploma courses in Christian ministry as well as training for Deacons. For more information on training opportunities click on the link below.

The Church of God has for more than 40 years operated a home for senior women, the facility has recently been refurbished and re branded the Harrison Memorial Holistic Care Centre. Registered with the Ministry of Health the home offers both long term and short term care for seniors. The home now serves both men and women and provides a place for meeting both the physical and spiritual needs of those who may no longer be able to care for themselves.
The Church of God in Jamaica is engaging a new bold initiative to reach and support “at risk children” in the Jamaican context. This initiative is not intended to replace the Church of God Home for Girls, which operation was discontinued in 2017 pending
resolution to social threat in the environment of the residence. At the time of closure on June 30, 2017 the Home had been up and running for 16 years, over which period approximately 50 girls of varying ages and for different time spans, disproportionately wards of the Jamaican state, were residents.
The “Let the Children Come” – Jamaica initiative will be institutionalized in churches of the Church of God in Jamaica and linked to communities in which the churches are established. In the ministry functions of this project, the Church turns up based on
the instruction of Jesus in the scenario in Matthew 19:14: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” It is sensitively targeted to unborn children to children 18 years old, providing
positive interventions that are aligned to developmental needs and goals, appropriate for age and stage and child-centred.
